Author: michael baranski

Michael is a fourth year PhD student studying Cognitive Psychology at Kent State University. His research examines the cognitive benefits of mindfulness meditation, specifically if this practice can enhance working memory and academic achievement. Before studying at Kent State, he completed his undergraduate studies at Youngstown State University and taught Civics & Economics at New Bern High School in New Bern, NC. When not doing research, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife Allison and son Kallen (especially co-pretending that he and Kallen are Avengers), working out, reading, and watching Netflix.
