Kierstin is a PhD candidate at the University of Florida. She studies behavioral and cognitive neuroscience in the psychology department with a focus on associative learning, attention, sensory processing, and fear learning. Outside of her research and academic life, Kierstin spends a lot of time going to punk concerts, thrift shopping, and loves queer/intersectional feminist/racial justice activities.
