Shriya (she/her) is a PhD student in the Human Development & Family Sciences Department at the University of Delaware. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Political Science from Union College (NY).
Her research focuses on aging and health disparities, with an interdisciplinary focus on the social, psychological, and biological determinants of health across the life course. Additionally, she is also interested in studying the role of the brain at the intersection of behaviour and society, especially how emerging technologies like AI affect brain function and cognition. She hopes to conduct research that informs more inclusive, accessible, and ethically grounded approaches to healthcare and better understand how policy and science intersect.
Outside of work, she enjoys writing, listening to music, exercising, and going on unplanned side quests!
