
Victoria is a PhD candidate in the Kheirbek Lab at University of California, San Francisco, where she studies the neuroscience of stress and anxiety. Victoria completed her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience at Amherst College in 2014 as a QuestBridge Match Scholar. After graduation, she worked analyzing the gene expression of the cerebellum at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in the lab of Albert I. Chen.
Victoria currently works in the Kheirbek Lab at UCSF, where her research applies imaging of hippocampal brain circuits to understand stress regulation and advance our understanding of psychiatric illnesses.
Victoria has written for outlets including the Scientific American column Mind Matters and the Bridge Blog of the organization QuestBridge. She has been an active contributor to the UCSF student newspaper Synapse since 2019 and has served as Editor-in-Chief at Synapse since 2021.
