Author: kkilgallen

Kristen (Krissy) Kilgallen is a PhD candidate studying Cognitive Psychology at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Her research interests center around the development and influence of intuitive theories in folk biology and folk psychology and the consequences they have on Pro-Environmental Behavior and science learning. Her current research examines how metacognitive interventions may serve as a buffer against intuitive thinking and misconceptions in science education. In her free time, Krissy loves teaching and practicing yoga, reading, and spending time in nature.
