I am, and have been, quite a few things in life; now, I am happy to say that I am a Personal Trainer -qualifying to work with specific physical and mental needs- and also a teacher. And, I am also studying towards an MSc in Neuroscience and Psychology of Mental health.
Because of my uncommon background I am working on building a platform where students of Neurobiology, Biophysics, Sports' specialist and MDs can cooperate, share ideas/opinions, and also discuss the struggle related to studying consistently, publishing good work, or more simply talk about what it means embarking on a PhD journey.
I am starting by publishing short critical analyses of studies that interests me, and hopefully manage to get in touch with other students who might want to work on short distant projects where each of us can contribute to from different perspectives while maintaining independence over our own ideas, something that I think is missing from great labs and academia in general for obvious reasons. But, I think that until we get where we really want to be, the freedom we have should be put to use efficiently.
