Ivan is an incoming law student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a background in cognitive neuroscience. He completed his master’s degree in Cognitive Science at Johns Hopkins University, where he later worked at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine on research for neurodegenerative diseases impacting language and memory. He received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of Oklahoma, during which he worked on research examining the neurobiological underpinnings of memory, as well as carried out computational modeling for the Human Connectome Project. His interests include neurolinguistics, cognitive disorders, the relationship between language and thought, as well as the growing intersection between neuroscience and law.
