Dasha is a Science Communication master’s student at the University of Sheffield. She is passionate about making science accessible, bridging the gap between academia and the public. Dasha completed her BSc in neuroscience and pharmacology at University of Toronto, where she studied the genetic underpinnings of Alzheimer’s disease. Her research interests include neurodegenerative disease and aging, sleep science, and the connection between the gut microbiome and brain health. In her spare time, Dasha loves getting outside and being active, reading autofiction, and exploring new crafts.
